BOOKING GUIDELINES & SALON POLICIES

Please read carefully before reserving an appointment. By booking an appointment, you agree to ALL terms and conditions listed. We reserve the right to refuse services for any salon guest not willing to abide by salon policy. Visit our COVID-19 Policy

NEW CLIENTS

​

Thank you for your interest in being serviced at "OLAITIN OLAY HAIR LOUNGE". All new clients are required to book under the "NEW CLIENT SERVICES" section. Please note that 

failure to do so will result in the appointment being cancelled.

 

Returning clients who haven't been serviced in 3 months or more are required to book under the "NEW CLIENT SERVICES" section. Please note that 

failure to do so will result in the appointment being cancelled.

A $50 non-refundable booking fee is acquired for every scheduled appointment. The booking fee goes towards the total cost of the service(s) rendered.

​

A $100 non-refundable booking fee is acquired for Traditional Sew-In. The booking fee goes towards the total cost of the service(s) rendered.​

​

AVAILABILITY

 

The booking calendar is only open in one month intervals.  

​

Calendar will only show what is available for the current month. If there are no availabilities, we ask that you check back periodically to see if your desired appointment time becomes available.

​

Subscribe to our mailing list to be notified when the booking calendar opens.

BEFORE/AFTER HOURS APPOINTMENT

​

Schedule an appointment before or after our working business hours for an additional fee of $100.

​

Appointment times are before 9am or after 5pm Tuesday through Friday only.

​

​

"VIP" APPOINTMENT

​

Salon is closed but need an appointment? Schedule an appointment on the days the salon is closed. This appointment is $150 per hour.

​

BOOKING FEE

 

A non-refundable booking fee is acquired for every scheduled appointment. The booking fee goes towards the total cost of the service(s) rendered.

​

 

PAYMENTS

​

Prices are standard and are subject to change based on length, density, and hair care needs.

​

BALANCE CAN ONLY BE PAID IN CASH AND IN CASH ONLY!

SALON POLICY

​

To ensure the personal comfort of each guest and to provide the best experience for all, we ask that salon guest adhere to the following policies below. Failure to do so will result in the appointment being cancelled and loss of deposit.

​

  • Guest must arrive to their appointment with their hair free of any style(no braids, twists,etc.) and properly detangled. A comb must be able to comb through the hair with ease. Appointment will not be paused for guest to take down a style or to detangle the hair. Failure to adhere by this policy will incur a price increase and may forfeit the scheduled appointment.

  • DO NOT bring guests or children who do not have services scheduled.​

​

  • DO NOT take lengthy personal calls in our service area.

​

  • Please be sure that personal devices (cellphone, laptop, etc.) are not obstructing the flow of services or the comfort of you and your service provider.(We are not responsible for any damage to devices).

​

  • DO NOT bring food into our service area. There are complimentary snacks and water available to you during your appointment.

​

  • We do not service anyone under the age of 12.

​

  • Due to the nature of services, there are NO refunds. Booking fees paid at the time of booking are non-refundable.

SALON LATE POLICY

​

Appointments have a 10 minute grace period.

​

We ask that you CALL (443-873-0581) to notify us of your late arrival.

 

If you are more than 10 minutes late, it will be the decision of the stylist to decide if you can be serviced.

 

If you cannot be serviced, your deposit will be forfeited and the "same day cancellation" policy will apply.

RESCHEDULING

​

Appointment may be rescheduled up to 48 hours prior to your scheduled appointment. 

 

The new appointment has to be scheduled within 7 days from the original scheduled appointment. Please view our availability to ensure appointment can be rescheduled within the aforementioned time frame.

 

If there is no availability within 7 days from the original scheduled appointment, the booking fee will remain non-refundable and cannot be transferred to a later date.

CANCELLATION

​

Appointment may be canceled via the confirmation and/or reminder email sent to you.

 

Cancellations will result in the loss of the booking fee as it is non-refundable and non-transferable. 

​

If you would like to reschedule, please view the rescheduling policy above.

​

Please be advised that cancellations made 24 hours or less prior to scheduled appointment will result in a 100% service charge. NO EXCEPTIONS!

 

NO SHOW = NO FUTURE APPOINTMENTS! You will be charged 100% of the service scheduled for your inconsideration.
