Following the recent CDC mask guidelines and Maryland's mask mandate lift for vaccinated individuals, our priority remains in keeping us all safe and healthy here at Olaitin Olay Hair Lounge. 

 

In addition to our salon policies and guidelines, we have updated our COVID-19 policies and procedures to provide a clean and safe environment that seeks to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 Coronavirus and any other contagions. The terms of this update are as follows:

• Face masks are still required to be worn upon entry to the salon and must stay on during the entire session.

​​

• When you arrive for your appointment, please text the number provided in your appointment reminder email, informing us of your arrival(include name & appointment time). You must wait in your car until you are called or texted to come in for your appointment.​

​

• Personal belongings are limited to 1 item(purse, laptop,etc).​​

​​

• You must wash hands with soap and warm water for no less than 20 seconds before being seated.

​​

• If wearing gloves, they must be switched out after every surface touch and you still have to wash your hands upon being seated. ​​

​​

• Client visitors/guests will not be allowed into our salon suite.

​​

• We ask that parents who are bringing their children to be serviced, to wait in their car until service is completed. 

​

​​

​We ask that you cancel your appointment if the following applies(please adhere to our cancellation policy as it still applies):

​

• You are not feeling well or experiencing any flu-like symptoms.

​

• Tested positive for COVID-19, or awaiting results based on your symptoms. 

​

• Recently been in close proximity with anyone who has tested positive for COVID-19 or exhibiting signs of the virus.

During your session, we will adhere to the following procedures:

​​

• We will wear PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) while conducting your service.

​​

• We will wash our hands with soap and warm water for no less than 20 seconds between each client. ​​

​​

• Capes will be thoroughly sanitized with a CDC solution and set for 5 minutes before placement on the next client. 

​​

• Door knobs will be disinfected after every client’s passing.

​

• Tools, product containers, stations, chairs, and dryers will be disinfected after every client. ​​

If you are unable to comply with these requirements to ensure your safety and that of ours, we ask that you do not schedule an appointment. By booking an appointment, you agree to comply with our updated policies and procedures. Failure to comply with our policies and procedures will result in refusal of service.
